Lake Greenwood Blueway Aquatic Trail

The Blueway has eight stops along the 34-mile route which contain signage, kiosks and brochures that describe the history of the lake and the wildlife of the lake, among other things. Anderson County is also working on a blueway that will connect to Greenwood County’s blueway in Ware Shoals. Officials say that they hope to assist Newberry County in setting up a blueway that will continue down the Saluda River to Lake Murray. The eight stops, which can be seen on the map, are at the Highway 25 bridge, Soul’s Harbor, Watts Bridge, Goat Island, State Park, Buzzards Roost ramp, dam portage and fishing access.
